Subject: Announcing the Inaugural Global Sustainability Challenge
„We are proud to announce the launch of the inaugural Global Sustainability Challenge (GSC) 2025 — a premier international competition for student innovators developing solutions for real-world sustainability challenges. This global initiative unites participants from across continents in a shared mission: to design practical, high-impact responses to some of the most pressing issues of our time.
This year’s GSC will focus on two pivotal themes:
· Sustainable Energy — cleaner and more accessible energy solutions
· Adaptation & Resilience — strengthening communities and systems to thrive in the face of environmental shifts
Inspired by this vision, the Technical University of Munich, together with the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability — Stanford’s first new school in 75 years — is working with several educational institutions to educate, inspire, and mobilize youth worldwide to take on this planetary challenge. We look forward to the ideas, solutions, and leadership you will contribute to this global stage. This inaugural year is the beginning of a tradition that will continue to inspire and mobilize the brightest minds for years to come.“
